Problems receiving RTE signal

Most of the time the RTE channels experience significant signal interuption. It looks like there is major interference on the line - signal break up, freezing, etc. I can't even watch any of these channels it is so bad. Does anyone else have the same problems? It is especially bad with local news and programming. What is going on here?

I had the same problem with all channels as you describe but a technician ran a wire from the phone point to the modem which definitely improved things. Addittionally they replaced the amino box with another. I still have some problems with it but it has significantly improved. Don't waste time talking to guys at the faults section. Insist they get a technician to come out.

The Irish channels are the biggest bandwidth wise.

If you have bad cabling / bandwidth issues, these are the channels that will show it up first.
