can this cause slowdown

i have recently changed the extention lead i was useing. i have a 6 socket extentsion lead and have tower, screen, printer, router,cordless phone and lamp connected in to it, could this cause interferance with router

I would say technically yes, though it should not really be a factor, but if the modem is not getting it need of power, certain aspect can be restricted, I have always had my modem on a wall socket rather than the adapter, but I know others will say no to the answer, but you can test it out to see if you have any improvement
