Can Smart provide wireless routers with Smartvision or does the customer need to supply the wireless setup?
If it's the latter, what's the most suitable wireless router to use with the Smartvision setup?

Hi,
There is no wireless option for Smartvision at the moment.
Any decent access point should be compatible.

So any wireless router will work for the broadband element of the Smartvision package???

FYI....I use a Motorola wireless router with no issues.....when the service is up and running. If/When you do get a wireless router, just check which port you should be connecting the service into (usually the WAN option) as the engineer who installed my Smart service advised that it can cause problems if you hook it up to one of the LAN ports on the router.

Thanks, folks!
Before I make a purchase could someone on Smartvision package recommend a piece 'wireless access point' hardware that works well with the equipment?
Cheers.

I have a Linksys WAP55AG and it was a pain to setup but once I got it working, I havent touched it since. I use it for xbox like & laptop on both the A & G band, and its pretty smooth.

I went for a cheapo BT Voyager wireless router and USB adapter package in the end up because the Linksys and adapter was way over 200 yoyos. I was amazed to see it work first time. But it seems to losing connection quite frequently requiring me to keep repairing the connection.
If anyone knows if I'm missing anything obvious let me know?
Running XP on a AMD 2800, 1 and 1/2 gigs of Ram.

Trying changing the channel that the Wireless AP uses.
Don't forget to secure it too!
