Im looking at setting up a mysmart account. From what I gather I need a password presented in a welcome pack.. How can I get this setup..

Is there full POP3 support?

Have been a disgruntled Smartvision customer in Smithfield for over a year. Was one of the first residents in Block E and initially great service experience from a TV, Broadband and Phone package.. As more and more residents entered the block the performace degraded and degraded..

The TV service is atrocious, even the premium channels that are extremely costly.. Really p**sed off with this service, especially at the ~ Eur 150 a month it is costing me.. ~Eur 50 for Sky Channels that only work some of the times, excessive packet delay and jitter on TV channels.. Broadband is offline a lot of the time which as a user that works from home is a disaster..

My year is thankfully up, but what are the options? Surely locking us into Smart as a provider is anti-competetive and a monopoly. Is it possible to get NTL / Eircom in? Even the NTL and Eircom services are better and would only cost Eur 85 a month..

I suspect others are in my situation, can I get some feedback.

why are you looking to set up a mysmart

and at the same time

are looking to leave smart?

bit pointless no?

Well if I cannot use another provider then I'll just have to use SMART..

SmartVision isnt work close to the ~ €150 I pay every month..

Any ideas on how I can get mysmart set up?

I have just worked out that I should have a mysmart.ie address as well...

As a SmartVision customer since about Sep last year, I feel a little dumb not knowing this!

How do I get my username and password for mysmart?

You've signed up to the forums here and have your email address as your username. That is not a good idea.

Search engines will add your email address to their lists. This isn't a bad thing if it was just the google or yahoo search engines but unfortunately there are spam robots searching the internet in a similar way collecting email addresses.

They usually end up sending all sorts of spam (viagra sales, investment advice, nigerian dictators looking for contacts) to their lists.

I recommend you PM (Private Message) an admin like Ejay (Click here to PM Ejay (http://support.smarttelecom.ie/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=7)) or colm (Click here to PM colm (http://support.smarttelecom.ie/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=5)) and ask them to change your username for you.

I recall one of the admins saying those with smartvision dont have email services, maybe that has changed
