Hi guys,
I know it's recommended to leave the Aolynk as is and bridge any other router, but my situation is this...
When Smartvision was installed the fitters ignored the prewired cat5 for three of my four network points and just used one cable, stripped down to blue twisted pairs, to carry the dsl to one network point and the Aolynk. So I have an empty switch panel and 3 unused network points :( What I'd like to do is stick another modem/router in the patch panel box, use this to network all the points, and have the Aolynk where it is now to supply TV and internet there (as I have the TV and Xbox there so require both). Does this sound feasible ie would the bridged Aolynk still deliver TV and Internet??? Or is there another solution?
