Hi,
Due to hardware failure all DSL users will have experienced two 2-3 minute outages earlier today at approximately 12:30 and 13:30.
An engineer is now en-route to replace the faulty hardware which caused these outages.
We expect the replacement to lead to a 5-10 minute outage sometime between 15:30 and 16:15.
I'll post an update once this work in complete.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

The hardware failed! Cant blame Smart on that - the positive thing was they communicated quickly with their customers which cannot be said of many isps.:)

Johnmd - Keep it civil please - we are glad of the input from everyone on the board - but this does not mean we are going to allow off topic rants and dig's aimed at other users of the board.
Please tone it down a bit.
Ejay.

Aye, gotta agree there! Very impressive. I have to say I hardly noticed anything, apart from my MSN logged out on me and pages stopped loading for about 30 seconds. Fair play lads, keep up the good work!!! :)
