I would just like to float an idea on this forum about the possibility of flat rate voice calls on Smart Telecom.

I have changed over to Smart for the sake of the broadband but am not all that impressed with your voice rates, in fact, they were the one thing that made me hesitate about changing over.

I know that most of us are primarily focused on broadband but I just thought that I would put it forward that it would be a nice idea if we could add a flat rate voice bundle to the service.

e.g. if you could pay X per month extra for unlimited voice mins to any landline something along the lines of packages offered by many other fixed line operators. e.g. unlimited local/national calls up to 60 mins long for X per month.

For those of us who don't want to go for that "bolt-on" the current smart 2 smart package would remain attractive.

It's just a suggestion / comment and I'm not sure if this is the best place to post it but thought i'd just air my views as a customer anyway. :)

That'd be a good thing to have... Other european telcos are doing packages like this:
Arcor in Germany are offering 2x ISDN Line/16Mbit uncapped ADSL2+/Phone Flatrate for 69.85€.

do a search for VOip buster, i think you might be impressed. Free national calls through your computer after small regestration fee (10euro).cheap land line calls to any where else,
with out registrating you can still use it to make calls upto 1 minute.. not long but sometimes long enough..
