Hi
I ordered broadband waaaayyy back in May I think and as yet still havent received. I know this is down to Eircom being problematic in changing the Ballyboden exchange.
However, I havent heard anything since so would it be possible to tell me here, or could a schedule be posted to give an idea on when it may be available ?
Cheers

Have you seen where the exchange is for ballyboden? I only happened to notice it when coming home one day and let me tell you its a bit off the main roads. I'd say whats taking the time is getting fiber to the exchange.
I'm still waiting for them to come here also but these things take time.

Cheers Tim Tim - thought there was gonna be a daye there when i saw your reply !
Nah only kidding, I know Eircom are being awkward as bejaysus but still, as someone posted earlier some kindof rough ballpark, or at the least a response would be good. Since I sent the mandate thing in months and months ago Ive never heard back from Smart so they really should be doing more about keeping peope updated (especially with this forum now).
Anyhow enough gripes - where is that exchange ? Im off Taylors Lane road but havent a clue where its located...
Cheers

Come ON!!! We've been waiting what, 8 months now. Couldn't this all have been done in that time? Is this another Eircom in the making???
Can anyone give me a good reason why I shouldn't go with these deals?
