So calling Smart support yields no results....let's try this tack.

Two weeks ago Eir-con disconnected my phone line.
Numerous calls to Smart support yield promises of action, but little else.

If, as I suspect, Eir-con is at the root of my problem, why is Smart not more open about this?
If you told the truth, instead of promising action, but not delivering, we could lobby Comreg, TDs etc to get this rediculous situation sorted out.
Instead we have a lot of people bad-mouthing Smart and blaming you....

So out with it...what's really happening?

You might as well go talk to your wall, it might be slighty more productive then trying ComReg.

I'm sure Smart are hassling eircom but there is a limit to what they can do. Its an uphill battle to get them to do anything with LLU

I must say I have found Comreg to be the most responsive government organisation I have dealt with. They have always got back to me quickly on my queries. However, whether thay will do anything about inter-supplier disputes is another matter.

There is an election coming up and politicians are becoming more responsive to lobbying also...

Today at lunchtime the nice man from Eircom connected my line!
Not sure if my writing here had anything to do with it or not.

Now all I have to do is check if Broadband works, but that's a whole other ball of wax.
