just curious about contension

i have heard an the radios all the adverts for the different bb services some are talking about no contension i know it means the amount that shares the speed can anyone tell me what the contension on smart is

Smart does not have a contention ratio on it's broadband - it is similar to that which magnet advertise in their recent advertisement campaign of contention free broadband. As smart sign up more and more customers to an exchange, and there is more and more demand on the bandwidth, smart simply increase their backhaul bandwidth to give everyone the speeds advertised, free from the effects of contention.

never even heard of contension untill i heard it on the radio i often heard of bb sharing speeds though but found out recently what contension ment and i was just wondering about it
and it was actually the advert for magnet that i heard this
nice to know were on our own speed
