Hello, my router picked up on two disconnections after 8am this morning (see graph included). Right now my stats are:

Last Result: Download Speed: 1550 kbps (193.8 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 388 kbps (48.5 KB/sec transfer rate) Latency: 48 ms Sat Jul 31 17:46:06 2010 I HAVE NO DIAL TONE, so it seems to be an eircom problem... also my stats seem to be worse than before. Just for clarity, i have no phone connected to anywhere. Just one phone plug where the modem takes its juice : Code:

Still the same today, latency increased my almost 10ms... I am guessing that eircom is at fault here since my dialtone is gone. Any admin could log that?

Any update on this? I know this is a bank holiday but this is quite frustrating...

if the phone service is not working then i would suggest calling customer care who can trigger an eircom fault. colm |

update: smart called me today to organize for an eircom engineer to show on Friday.

Right, after 2 weeks and 3 eircom engineers, they eventually found that my line had been altered. The eircom man today rewired my appartment to another line and then fixed the exchange. Back to full speed now.
